 Blue Sunday at Greater First Church of the Northwest 💙 This past Sunday, Bishop Tavis Grant and the Greater First family stood united in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month. We were honored to celebrate Judge Thomas P. Stefaniak for his unwavering commitment to protecting our children. A powerful conversation, led by our own Sister Twan Stokes, with a courageous young man who shared his journey through the foster care system, reminded us all of the resilience of the human spirit. |  International Women's Month.  The Lake County Easter Bunny Brunch was amazing at Greater First Church . This was a FREE EVENT. Over 500 children and adults received Easter baskets and meals to go. |  Over 300 toys were given away this Christmas. |  Suspicions that the videotapes of the Joliet police-related murder of Eric Lurry may be edited. We are supposed to protect whistleblowers,” Bishop Grant said during a press conference held Tuesday outside of the Joliet City Hall, 150 W. Jefferson St. |
